Snapshot of the role:
We are recruiting a HR star to help us write the next chapter. It won’t be easy, there will be challenges, sometimes daily and there is certainty that things will change. We are looking for a HR officer who can join our team and find a new or better way, support leaders to be effective people managers and deploy our Strategy across all levels of the business.
This role will support all facets of the employment lifecycle including workforce planning, recruitment & onboarding, learning & development, performance, employee relations, exits, union relationships and safety & wellbeing for their defined customer group. You will also have an opportunity to identify and drive initiatives that will improve Employee Engagement and our position as an Employer of Choice.

Your ability to build and foster strong relationships with a diverse range of key stakeholders and willingness to challenge the status quo will be critical to achieving success.
What we are looking for:
- Formal qualifications in Human Resources or related qualification
- Strong work ethic and ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a challenging generalist HR work including recruitment experience. (desirable)
- Exposure to a range of HR systems and Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Strong Data analysis skills
- Previous experience working with a blue collar/ unionised workforce will be highly regarded.
